TANDEM Plus and the YouthIES project consortium proudly hosted the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ YouthIES Project in Lille, France, celebrating two years of inspiring youth innovation, environmental sustainability, and community impact.
The conference, brought together youth workers, educators, policymakers, NGOs, local authorities, and young changemakers from across Europe to showcase the results of the YouthIES Project—”Promoting Youth Innovation for Community-Based Interventions through Social Entrepreneurship in Environmental Sustainability using Design Thinking and Digital Storytelling.”
Over the past two years, YouthIES has engaged young people and youth workers in France, Spain, Malta, Greece, Poland, and Cyprus. Through interactive training, digital storytelling, and design thinking, participants developed impactful community interventions addressing real environmental challenges.
During the conference, project partners presented:
- The YouthIES VlogBox: a collection of youth-created storytelling videos tackling climate issues
- A Training Pack and eToolkit for youth workers
- Best practices from the 6 national Enviro-Hackathons
- Local success stories of youth-led green entrepreneurship
